L’unità A5E2v2 ECM è un dispositivo di controllo
elettronico che regola il regime del motore e il
rendimento di coppia e che gestisce le emissioni e le
prestazioni dei motori tramite più sensori e attuatori. Il
dispositivo è dotato di due prese di collegamento: una
per il cablaggio del motore denominata J2 e una per il
cablaggio della macchina OEM denominata J1.
L’unità ECM trasmette i valori relativi al monitoraggio del
motore tramite J1939, un protocollo di comunicazione
standard basato su bus CAN.
